How do I order my indi-pendant personal alarm if I'm VAT exempt?

When you order your indi-pendant Personal Alarm online, there is a declaration section please complete the form & submit it with your order. 
We have to retain this information for VAT inspections. HMRC may ask us to provide the details that have been submitted.

If you do not complete the declaration we have to charge VAT at the full rate.

 

How do I know if I'm VAT exempt?

For the purposes of the VAT relief, you are chronically sick or disabled if:

  • You have a physical or mental impairment that has a long-term and substantial adverse effect on your ability to carry out everyday activities.
  • You have a condition that the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes.
